The teat end is the gate
A cracked or over-milked teat end is an open door, even with a pretty dip bottle.

Walk a row and look at teat ends, not only at the unit wash. Hyperkeratosis and rings tell you vacuum, liner fit, or overmilking is stripping the seal.
NMC’s control program still puts milking-machine function and teat disinfection in the first rank of actions.
Score teat ends monthly. Fix the machine before you change the dip brand again.
